He mentions, “I don’t have that much hate in my heart. I think I really wanted to be happy, and I wanted to be close to home and stay on the West Coast. That was important to me. But playing the Seahawks twice a year was a cherry on top, and I’ll make sure they see me every time we play them. They’ll know where I’m at and I’ll make sure I tell them. It won’t be a quiet game for me.”

This is the first time the LB has spoken to the media since last week when he agreed to a multi-year contract worth millions of dollars with the defending Super Bowl champions.

New Place, New Beginnings

When the Seahawks dismissed Wagner last month, he became a free agent for the very first time in history. The LB caps off a 10-year profession that includes eight Pro Bowl appearances, six first-team All-Pro honors, a Super Bowl championship, and a franchise-record 1,383 tackles.

In December, Wagner saw the possibility of a major change in the works after the Seahawks had an unsatisfying run. Moreover, it did not impress him with the way the franchise managed his release from the team. Bobby Wagner’s arrival will add another star to an already-loaded Rams defensive corps including Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey. This gives the company a higher probability of replicating history.
