As per the latest data, the following players have been put on the NFL’s Reserve/COVID 19 list by the New Orleans Saints – Guard James Carpenter, linebacker Kaden Elliss, safety Jeff Heath, quarterback Taysom Hill, defensive end Jalyn Holmes, safety Malcolm Jenkins, tackle Jordan Mills, defensive tackle Christian Ringo, quarterback Trevor Siemian, tight end Adam Trautman, and tight end Juwan Johnson.

Losing 11 starting players in the business end of the season is the stuff of a nightmare and that’s what the Saints are going through right now. For starters, a crisis not only hampers the team environment but also the playing rhythm of the team. Moreover, the team also needs to find able backups or replacements at a quick speed.

Replacement signings need to be immediate, and that’s what the New Orleans-based side has done. In order to solidify their QB crisis, the Saints have fast-tracked the signing of veteran quarterback Blake Bortles.
