BREAKING: NFL Announces Date, Venue, and More Details Of 2023 NFL Draft

As the 2022 offseason is about to end, the NFL has begun preparing for next year’s offseason. The teams are finishing up with their OTAs and mandatory practice sessions will start soon. NFL made the announcements today regarding the important dates, venues, and other important details surrounding the 2023 NFL draft.

The 2023 NFL draft will take place in Kansas City from April 27-29. Speaking of the new league year, it will start on March 15 at 4 p.m ET. Also, the teams will be allowed to designate franchise and transition tags from February 21 to March 7.

Also, as the offseason is about to end, the NFL calendar for the upcoming season has taken shape. The teams will begin with their training camps for the upcoming season in July. Also, the preseason has been scheduled to start on August 4, 2023, and the Hall of Fame Game will be played in Canton, Ohio. The final games of the preseason of 2022 will be played on August 28.

Also, by August 30, the teams will have to cut down their roster to 53 players. The regular season will be officially starting on September 4 and the teams can conduct their practice sessions until the following day.

Moreover, all the teams have time till July 15 to confirm the signings of the long-term players who have been franchise tagged. Among many players, there is Bengals’ safety Jessie Bates III who will look forward to this date. Bates had asked his team for a new contract for the 2022 season.

If Bates does not sign an extension with the Cincinnati Bengals, he would have to sign his franchise tag by 15 November, or else he will miss the rest of the season.

This year the regular season will begin with the faceoff between the reigning champions Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills on September 8. The match will be played on the home ground of the LA Rams. On January 8th, the regular season will end, and the playoffs will begin on the 15th of January. The Super Bowl game will be played on Sunday, February 12 at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.
