The Mahomes’ eldest child is one-and-a-half-year-old Sterling Skye Mahomes. And she absolutely adores her younger sibling, Bronze. The Kansas couple decided to name their son Patrick, continuing their family tradition. Patrick Mahomes is the son of a former professional baseball player and MLB pitcher, Pat Mahomes. However, whether Bronze will follow the family athletic suit is uncertain and Pat Mahomes wants to play no part in influencing him.

However, the name Bronze was actually Patrick’s brother Jackson Mahomes’ idea who thought Bronze will go quite well with Sterling. Brittany Mahomes shared a picture of the newborn with her elder sister in her Instagram story. Bronze’s star parents decided to not show his face to the fans yet. However, the beautiful brother-sister sibling-bond on display in the picture is sure to be a relief to the Mahomes household. “Truly been the best big sissy,” Brittany captioned the heartwarming picture.

Patrick Mahomes and fam will always have memorable Thanksgivings

Getting a one-year-old to adjust to the shift from a three people family to a household of four is certainly a tricky thing to do. After announcing the coming of Bronze in May this year, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes had already started prepping Skye. Sterling does love her little brother and wants to play with and take care of him. However, she is also concerned that mother Brittany suddenly has all her attention on someone who is not Sterling Mahomes.

She wants to play all day, and we have to tell her to be gentle. And we have to tell her to don’t throw him like a toy baby,” Mahomes said. The couple who got married this year in Hawaii had the whole family over for Thanksgiving when Bronze arrived. And Patrick thinks it was a wild ride with the baby coming, the family at home and the Thanksgiving football game he had against reigning Super Bowl champions, LA Rams.
