Brittany Mahomes Surprises Patrick Mahomes on Thursday Night Football With This Heartwarming Gesture

Apart from football in the 2022 season, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Matthews have a lot more to cheer for their Kansas City fans. Just turned family man, Mahomes had a special guest on the sidelines of Arrowhead stadium for his Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. His 18-month-old daughter Sterling Skye visited him to watch her first field game on Thursday Night, wearing adorable outfits supporting her Daddy and the Chiefs.

Patrick Mahomes nailed the game, clinching a 27-24 win against the Chargers. The mistakes made by the Justin Herbert-led Chargers helped the Chiefs to victory in Week 2.

However, the highlight of the game was Mahomes’ daughter and his wife, Brittany Matthews, marking their presence on the field. Little Skye wore an adorable red tutu, sparkly sneakers, and a jean jacket, which had Mahomes, 10, and Daddy written on the back.

Matthews instantly shared those pictures on Instagram Stories with a caption, “We stayed up past bedtime to surprise Dada…” Further, Brittany wrote in a Sept. 15 post “Her first time on the field to see him.” it read.

Just like her daughter, Matthews wore a red dress and a white jacket. Above that, one could clearly see her baby bump. The duo has been waiting for their second child, a boy.

Indeed, the answer has to be a big ‘Yes.’ The Chiefs’ quarterback got bailed out of four interceptions in his game against the Chargers. It was a dramatic way of turning the game. Every time he got lucky with either a foul or a miss by the defense.

The first interception happened in the first half; however, the cornerback Bryce Callahan was called for illegal contact negating the play. The next happened in the third quarter, with 9:52 left on the clock. It was a pass for Mecole Hardman, but the ball got dropped, and safety Derwin James jumped on it. However, couldn’t continue due to offsetting penalties.

And just like that, Mahomes’ finished the game with zero interceptions. Back in 2020, Mahomes had exceptional luck with 19 dropped interceptions. The question is; how long this would continue and work in favor of Mahomes?
