NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal is hitting slam dunks even after retirement! No, we are not talking about him playing in the court once again. But O’Neal continues to make headlines every now and then because of his influential position in the NBA. However, famous for his (Protect, Provide and Love) PPL theory, Shaq is not a rookie when it comes to love. And this time, its someone close to the football world. While he still remains an important voice in the league, this time O’Neal made headlines because of his romantic life.

The 7ft 1inch giant has been single ever since the end of his seven-year marriage with Shaunie in 2011. While the giant continues to find love in his life, his ex-wife has already remarried Pastor Keion Henderson in 2022. But now, Shaquille O’Neal’s dating life is in the news once again, after he was recently spotted hanging out with the ex-girlfriend of former NFL star, Colin Kaepernick.

The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles saw quite the spectacle on Tuesday. Years before, the NBA legend and his ex-wife tied the knot here in 2002. But this time, O’Neal was seen at the Hotel with another woman. The NBA legend was joined by Kaepernick’s ex-girlfriend and internet personality, Brittany Renner.

According to TMZ, both Shaq and Renner showed up at the hotel together at around 6 PM. While Renner was dressed beautifully in a white dress, Shaquille O’Neal decided to show up dressed casually in a jumper and jeans. Both of them shared a meal together, gossiping and making merry during their meeting. They left the hotel around 8 PM after they were done catching up with each other. While the single Shaq has been in the dating game ever since his divorce, sources state that the two are just good friends and are not bonding with each other romantically.

Throughout the years, Renner has been linked with many prominent personalities such as James Harden, Lil Uzi Vert, Jamal Murray, and many others. Her book ‘Judge This Cover’ also talks about her past relationship with the ex-San Francisco 49ers star.

The era of Kaepernick and Renner

In her book, Renner talked about how Colin Kaepernick was her “rebound” after ending her five-year relationship with Casey Therriault. She talked about how the NFL star turned activist would make her book her own flights to see him. According to the book, it was Kaepernick’s way to “gauge her true intentions and interests.” Kapenerick allegedly told her that if she was serious about them, “she would save her money for flights.” During an interview with VladTV in 2021, Renner said that there is no bad blood between her and Kaepernick, and she was content with the way the ex-NFL star decided to live his life as a Human Rights Activist.
