Dre’Mont Jones, a defensive tackle for the Denver Broncos, goes into defensive mode over Twitter after the Tweet garnered considerable attention. Jones argued that Donald Trump Jr.’s father, the former president, reaped the same benefits from his conduct.

The Denver Broncos signed Dre’Mont Jones to a four-year, $4,158,800 contract that included a $1,066,400 signing bonus, $1,066,400 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $1,039,700. Jones’ basic salary in 2022 is $2,540,000, with a cap hit of $2,806,600 and a dead cap value of $266,600

Despite taking a significant step back in 2021, the defensive lineman’s second season was much stronger than his other. He had a total of 41 combined tackles, 7 sacks, and 11 quarterback hits in the year 2021. Now that DE Shelby Harris is not on the roster due to the blockbuster Russell Wilson got traded to the Seattle Seahawks; Many believe Jones would have a much better chance to show himself in the upcoming season.

Jones will be entering an extension window after 2022, as it’ll be his last season in the franchise. His performance during the following 17 games may influence whether he receives a contract extension or becomes a free agent in the future.
