Tom Brady suddenly announcing his retirement was surprising for many, while others saw it coming from a mile away. Nonetheless, the GOAT retiring had some shock value to it. He is one of the best players in the league’s history, after all. The Buccaneers have left the door open just in case the legendary quarterback decides to walk out of retirement.

The GM Jason Licht has left “the light on” for him. But the head coach Brian Arians believes that Brady is done with football for good. He does not see the quarterback stepping back on the field in the near future.

Has Tom Brady “slammed” the door on a potential comeback?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is positive that Tom Brady is going to enjoy his retirement. While addressing the reporters during the NFL Combine, Arians explained why he believes this is the case.
“Every time I met with [Tom Brady], he felt fantastic,” said Arians. “The way he was playing, I had myself convinced he was coming back. And then when we talked, I understood everything.”

Brady has explained why he retired in the first place. It’s simple: he wants to spend more time with his family and make them a priority. The GOAT also wants to try out new ventures. This is one of the main reasons the Bucs’ HC believes Brady will remain retired.
“He slammed it shut when I talked to him,” said Bruce, when the reporters asked if Brady could make a comeback. “I think, like a lot of these guys, he likes to have his name out there.” According to the head coach, it seems like Tom Brady is done with the NFL for good.

Who will take Brady’s place in the Buccaneers squad?
Tom Brady has left an immense hole in the Buccaneers’ offense. The quarterback is the heart of the attack on a football team. And replacing the seven-time Super Bowl winner will not be an easy task.
I asked Bruce Arians about Bucs exploring QB market: “We’ll do our due diligence. This year there’s not much available. We’ll see what trades could be available — and does it better your org. You’re going to have to give a lot for some of these guys, if they’re even available.”

The HC Bruce Arians does not see a lot of potential candidates. There are not many veteran starters available for trade at a reasonable price. “This year there’s not much available,” said Arians. “You’re going to have to give a lot for some of these guys if they’re even available.”
Until now, nobody knows who will lead the Buccaneers attack next season. Who do you want to see as the next quarterback of Tampa Bay?
