Tampa in trouble
The GOAT Tom Brady is without a doubt the most cherished player in the Buccaneers roster. He is one of the best to ever lace up a pair of cleats. However, when he announced his retirement in February, the franchise was in trouble. They did not have a reliable quarterback to start the games. Tampa started to inquire about a QB in the market. They went all out.

“We had started to uncover as many stones as we possibly could,” said the Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians to the NFL Network in an interview. “We would’ve turned over every stone. … Jason did his calls. We were in the midst of all that stuff when Tom decided to come back and thank God we could say, ‘No thanks, brother. We’re out of it.'”
Just imagine how awkward the situation might be if Brady decided to come back, but the Bucs had a new QB. The franchise has always told Tom that he has a place on the roster even after he retired. So they did have some faith in the quarterback. Maybe they knew he might come back.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their fans will never forget the date March 12, 2022. That was the day Tom Brady announced his return to action. The franchise and the fan rejoiced after six weeks of stress. Brady just had a really good season. So his sudden retirement didn’t make much sense. Arians and the team never lost faith. Their patience was rewarded.
