Prior to the game, much was expected from the Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. The 38-year-old tried hard, but lack of support and tough tactics by the opposition meant he could not make his team smile. The match also witnessed several tense moments. In fact, A-Rod suffered an injury scare, and much to the delight of the fans, he escaped unhurt.

Aaron Rodgers falls to the ground

His team was trailing. The defense was going haywire. The attack was going nowhere, either. So, that’s when Aaron Rodgers tried hard to take the game on his own. He tried to throw on the block on Za’Darius Smith. However, it did not go over as planned. Instead, the MVP fell flat on the ground, but soon picked himself, got up, and spoke to Smith, who is his former teammate. Both were seen smiling after the incident.

However, the top star was self-critical while talking to the media after his team’s defeat. “We had a lot of chances today. Not taking anything away from (the Vikings’) defense, but we hurt ourselves many times, myself included. I had a lot of opportunities to score a lot more than seven points, says the QB.

What happened to Packers?

The Packers’ side faltered a lot in their game plan. They came out passive while Minnesota was all guns blazing. One major drawback was that they did not quite text the Vikings’ secondary deep. It is an area they would like to address in the upcoming clashes. Talking after the match, the head coach also admitted that Green Bay was not able to perform well. The coach added they played a defensive game.

Meanwhile, Packers fans need not have to press the panic button right now. Apparently, they are slow starters. Last year is a classic reminder. They lost it 38-3 against the Saints. However, they improved as the league progressed. Perhaps history might repeat. One can never say, because the Packers are unpredictable, just like the sport.
