After suffering a torn ACL in the Super Bowl match earlier this year, Beckham is still searching for a team for the upcoming season. One of the major reasons is the wide receiver’s injury because he won’t be able to play for any teams in the first half of the season.
Moreover, looking at the current trend in this off-season, wide receivers won’t come affordable. Especially players like OBJ can be acquired only if the franchises have enough money in their salary cap.

Is the salary cap an issue for the Rams signing Odell Beckham Jr. back to their roster?
Recently, the wide receiver was involved in a Twitter discussion. Jake Ellenbogen, who covers for the LA Rams, predicted cornerback James Bradberry’s future in the NFL. Soon, Songwriter Jon-John Robinson indulged in the discussion explaining the Rams’ culture and speculated that the franchise might sign OBJ in the coming days. He also tagged the wide receiver in his tweet.

Instantly, the 29-year-old responded to the situation. “They know where I wanna be (with two laughing emojis) just can’t play for free !” OBJ wrote on Twitter. It seems the NFC West team is undervaluing the free agent and his salary cap. As a result, both the parties haven’t signed an official deal so far.
