This doesn’t deny the fact that one cannot have such a moment while being in a foreign country; which can be a passionate and tremendous moment. Cardinals’ JJ Watt had such a fan meet in England, which he never saw it coming.

A renowned athlete’s life might seem weird at times. Multitudes of eager patrons are applauding, heckling, and evaluating your slightest action as you get more to business. Fan interactions can be really very unpredictable and crazy. Moreover, to have such a moment outside of the States is surreal to witness.

England had a surprise for JJ Watt

While out for a stroll in London, JJ Watt came across an admirer who had his face embroidered upon her sock. The Arizona Cardinals’ standout pass-rusher shared an image with the fan he met on the streets on Sunday morning. She pushed up her pants to expose the unique heel wear with his face on it.

He mentions on Twitter, “Landed in London, went for a walk around and was stopped by this woman who immediately said “no way!” and started rolling up her pant legs. Wasn’t sure what to expect at that moment, but my own face wouldn’t have made the top 5 guesses. Next level fan love, thank you!”

JJ Watt has been a Houston Texans athlete for most of his career, and it’s obvious that he’d have some major fan following there. Yet, a fan meeting Watt in England while donning socks with his face sewn is a bizarre yet remarkable coincidence.

JJ went on to say in another tweet that he did not know what the “Shop with your DNA” sign behind them meant. However, it has a sinister ring to it. The fans, who were Houstonians living in London, also share an image, thanking JJ Watt and his wife, soccer star Kealia Ohai Watt. However, Watt’s wife is nowhere to be seen in any picture.

While JJ Watt made a monumental move in 2021 when he made his way towards Arizona. His time with the Texans has been a massive success. The athlete’s flexibility could also benefit the Cardinals. Now that the franchise lost OL Chandler Jones in free agency, JJ could be the next big thing in the defense.
