Other than keeping his TNF record unblemished, Wentz did little in the game as the QB could pass only 99 yards. He also had no touchdown passes under his name. Wentz completed 12 of 22 passes in the game with a 66.3 passer rating. None of his passes was intercepted. He would surely hope to improve his performance when he next takes the field for his team.
Post-match presser

Rivera had cooked up a storm of sorts on Monday when he seemed to suggest that his team was struggling because of the QB. When asked why the other teams in the division were performing better than them, he answered “quarterback”. Although he went on to clarify that the teams in question were familiar with their QBs, it was enough to stoke a fire in the media.
Rivera went on a rant when the topic inadvertently came up again on Thursday.
Everybody wants to keep saying I didn’t want to do anything with Carson, well bull—-. I’m the f—— guy that pulled out the sheets of paper, that looked at the analytics, that watched the tape, and the freaking when we were in Indianapolis. OK,” Rivera said. The Commanders’ head coach left without completing the press conference after his spirited defense of Wentz.
