Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow is looking forward to starting this season as the team’s OTAs are about to end this week. This year it was the Bengals’ shortest offseason, and the team has been doing well according to Joe Burrow. But he does not want to stop there and wants to keep practicing and focusing on himself mentally and physically.

In a recent press conference, Joe Burrow said, “We’re locked in now. It’s going time. We’re a month in a couple of weeks out from camp. So I’m locked in.” It’s mid-June, and the Bengals’ star QB seems quite pumped up. OTAs may end, but it doesn’t mean the practices stop.

Burrow says he is thinking about football every day. The practice and the meeting sessions with the team had been very intense. Now is not the time to rest, but it’s time to go.

Cincinnati Bengals QB said“I feel great. That’s the plan moving forward. We’ll see when it comes the game day, preseason games. See how we’re feeling. Might put it on, might not, we’ll see, but I plan on practicing without it and seeing how it feels.” Also, Burrow was seen practicing without a brace on his surgically repaired left knee during the Organised Team Activities (OTAs).

Joe Burrow had the highest completion percentage in 2021

In 2020, Burrow was injured and suffered from a torn left ACL, MCL, and other knee damages. He kept his braces on the whole 2021 season, but he will be without the braces in the upcoming season.

Burrow looks physically fit this season and is ready to give his best performance just like last season. In 2021, Burrow threw for 4,611 yards and had 30 touchdowns. He also led the league in terms of completion percentage, which was 70.4.

Burrow also said during the interview that he will take a vacation soon. He plans to go on a trip to Las Vegas with his teammate Jessie Bates. Well, he will be vacationing, but he won’t be missing his training. He said he will travel with someone who can train with him.
