Deshaun Watson was like the face of the University of Clemson back in the days. In 2016, the quarterback got his team, the Tigers, to a national championship. This led to his big breakthrough; the NFL call-up. Houston Texans selected him in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The former US President also calls down Watson in the front to make him recognized. Both share a moment with Trump’s over-the-top handshake and his patting on Watson’s shoulders. This was by far the finest handshake Trump has given since taking office.

There has been a pattern that Trump prefers NFL candidates who have won a bunch of matches or accolades in college, despite having a few draft busts in a line. However, Deshaun Watson has somehow lived by Trump’s praise.

Controversies aside, the QB has been making his mindset for a major NFL breakthrough. The Texans traded him to the Cleveland Browns. Since then, he has been attentive at the offseason training and getting ready to have his big moment.
