Colin Kaepernick is Game Ready

When Colin Kaepernick protested during the national anthem in the 2016 season, the former quarterback ignited a controversy in the NFL. Kneeling as a protest against social injustice has been popular in recent years; with athletes from various sports taking part in it.

The quarterback turned human rights activist recently uploaded a workout video of him progressing on a training field with a caption entitled, ‘still working.’

On a different tweet, he makes a statement: “For The past 5 years, I’ve been working out and staying ready in case an opportunity to play presented itself. I’m really grateful to my trainer, who I’ve been throwing to all this time. But man, do I miss throwing to professional route runners.”

Even though multiple teams were apparently interested in signing Kaepernick two years ago, it’s uncertain whether any teams would contemplate doing so in 2022. He may probably enter as a contest for a backup role during this juncture in his tenure.

Even though Schefter’s source claims Kaepernick is in ‘the best shape of his life’ and that he is a Super Bowl ring-worthy player, his past actions make a 2022 return to the NFL highly doubtful. However, there are some teams like the Seattle Seahawks, who direly need a quarterback after the trade of Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks have a startling and blatant needs quarterback as they’ve never been before. They were the only team in the NFL who reportedly approached Kaepernick regarding a deal. This fact has fueled speculation about whether they’ll contact Colin soon.
