Niners fans urge the team to sign Colin Kaepernick

On Sunda, against the Miami Dolphins, Garoppolo suffered a foot injury, which practically ended his season with the Niners. They already lost Trey Lance and now, they have only seventh-round draft pick rookie Brock Purdy to handle the quarterback duties.

Although he threw 210 years with 2 touchdown passes in the Niners’ win over the Dolphins, he is still a rookie and it will be tough for him to handle the quarterback duties in the playoffs. Hence, many Niners fans are taking over social media and urging the 49ers’ management to call Kaepernick back.

It is worth noting that there were plenty of rumors regarding former Panthers quarterback Baker Mayfield joining the Niners team. Earlier, the Panthers waived him off due to his poor performances this season, and he became a free agent. Notably, Mayfield has been performing poorly for the past 2 seasons.
