Colin Kaepernick has been out of the NFL since 2017. It’s been a long time since people have seen him playing on the football pitch. As a result, many new fans of the game don’t know how good Colin actually was. In one sentence, his dominance over Aaron Rodgers and the Packers at the 49ers could convey just how good he was as a player.

The San Francisco 49ers and the Green Bay Packers have been fierce rivals over the years. These two are on of the most prestigious franchises in the game. Moreover, many great players have represented them over the years.

Even though Aaron Rodgers is regarded as one of the all-time greats of the game, he wasn’t able to get the better of Colin. Kaepernick is 3-1 against the Packers and Rodgers in his career. This includes playoff games as well.

The San Francisco 49ers have been among the contenders almost every season in the NFL. When Kap was their quarterback, they boasted a record of 28-30 in the regular season. When it came to the playoffs, they had a record of 4-2. He took the 49ers to the Super Bowl in 2012, but unfortunately, they lost to the Baltimore Ravens.

Colin Kaepernick played 6 seasons for the 49ers. He threw for 12,271 yards and 72 touchdowns. Even though his winning record wasn’t that great, he was still a pretty handy quarterback. Nobody expected him to go out of the league this early in his career, but other factors certainly played a part in it.
He isn’t on the field now, but he has continued to help people with his charities and social work. He is a sporting icon for obvious reasons, and even if he doesn’t get a chance again in the league, he’ll be remembered forever.
