Colin Kaepernick made a revolution when his pre-game stance became the talk of the town. His silent protests rose to a major significance that led to a phenomenon throughout the states. Kap’s cause cost him his rising NFL career. But he became a prominent figure despite his inactivity in the sport. Kaepernick’s voice spread all over and even close to his home.
Young athletes across the country are hearing the ex-49ers quarterback’s protest against injustice. A slew of high school athletes had taken Colin Kaepernick’s stance by kneeling during the national anthem before their games. The Woodrow Wilson High coaches and athletes took a knee before the games. The situation then sparked controversy.

Woodrow Wilson coach Preston Brown knelt during the star-spangled banner before the Tigers’ opening game against Highland. Most of the Tigers joined him in kneeling. They focused on the reason Colin Kaepernick took the knee in the first place. When Colin took the stance, he had a slew of troubles surrounding him. However, he did not let his guard down.
Colin’s kneeling protests not just influenced the Woodrow Wilson high, but various other institutions. According to Forbes, football players from Watkins Mill High School in Montgomery County kneeled. Athletes at Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia, Auburn High School football in Rockford, Illinois, and a young squad in Beaumont, Texas did the same.
The influence that Colin Kaepernick and the pre-game stance had all these years had a tremendous impact, and he continues to do so. Despite not being in the NFL, he remains a popular figure and continues to fight for his cause.

Colin Kaepernick tried to keep his case for an NFL return throughout the offseason. He was also ready to take a backup role to get back in the sport. Despite getting a workout opportunity from the Las Vegas Raiders, he is nowhere close to a quarterback role with any franchise. Although, one team might have some void to fill in case of need.
