The most strenuous position in the world is indisputably of a mother. While some get to spend their treasured time with their children, there are, unfortunately, some mothers who, because of various reasons, give up their child for a better life to adoption. For everybody involved in the process, adoption proves to be a boon. That is exactly what happened to Colin Kaepernick!

Heidi Russo shared a heartfelt video. She is the biological mother of the former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. In the video, she revealed the delicacy of adoption and the difficult journey she endured while choosing the right couple for her child. Russo was resilient and knew what she wanted for her child. Ultimately, her decisions proved correct.

What did the mother want for Colin Kaepernick?

Every mother wants to nurture her child in a manner that resembles close to hers. It is her decision to inculcate values and fitting hobbies that a kid may want to take up. Similarly, Russo wanted her son to become an athlete. The former Niners shot caller’s mother always knew he was destined to become a football player.

While interviewing the perfect family for her child, she decided to come up with criteria based on her preferences. A family with the same morals and religious interests suited her the best. The family should encourage and be interested in sports, especially football. This particular interest collided with one family she interviewed. They conveyed their interest in teaching her child to play the piano. On which she said, “You don’t know me at all and he’s not going to be playing piano… that is not where he’s coming from; that is not part of… I can’t imagine that would be part of what he would do in life.”
