Years ago, Colin Kaepernick was involved in a brief relationship with Brittany Renner. She has been quite famous over the years due to her relationships with famous athletes and artists. Renner was recently in the news due to her relationship with the Charlotte Hornets player, P.J. Washington.

Last year, according to a report, Renner gave some insights into what she experienced in her time together with Colin Kaepernick. Basically, the former 49ers quarterback didn’t change into a different person while being with her. He behaved like an actual Kaepernick would do, and that upset Brittany Renner.

As noted in Judge This Cover (via BET.com): “In true Colin form, he told her she had to pay for her own flights to see him. Convinced her that this was a test to gauge her true intentions and interest. Told her that if she was in it for the right reasons, she would save her money for flights.” 

The report also stated: “When it was time for her to catch her flight home, she asked when was she going to see him again. He said and she quoted, ‘What I want to do and what I’m going to do are two different things. That’s all I’m going to say.’ It went downhill from there.”

It wasn’t the best of relationships. Both of them were not on the same page. As a result, it didn’t work out well for Renner and Kaepernick. Luckily for Colin Kaepernick, he found Nessa Diab later, and she has been perfect for him.

According to a source, Colin Kaepernick and Nessa Diab have been linked with each other since 2015. However, they officially announced their relationship in 2016. Since then, the couple has stayed together.

During all the ups and downs of Kaepernick’s life since his exit from the NFL, Nessa Diab has stood by her. She has always been her biggest supporter, and during tough times, Kap got the right person with him.
