What led to Kaepernick losing his QB spot at the Baltimore Ravens in 2017?

In 2017, after Kaepernick lost his spot at the 49ers, he had a real shot at the Ravens. As per former Ravens LB Ray Lewis, Kaepernick was highly considered for a spot but lost it after Nessa posted a controversial tweet.

Diab compared the snapshot of Ray Lewis hugging the Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti from the back with the still from ‘Django Unchained’. This did not bode well with the Ravens, and the deal fell apart before seeing the light of day.

In conclusion, not everything is taken lightly on social media. Nessa’s tweets forcing the NFL to list her QB fiance as a free agent materialized. Ironically, her tweets in the past also led to him being a free agent ever since the Ravens pulled out.
