Not much has gone right for the Indianapolis Colts this season. They were hopeful while acquiring veteran quarterback, Matt Ryan, this season. Even though they were being touted for a post season run this year. However, among all that disappointment, the Colts’ fans still can’t fathom the criticism their star quarterback is getting from NFL analyst Troy Aikman.

The Pittsburgh Steelers visited Indianapolis this Monday for their week 12 game. What turned out to be another routine defeat for the Colts also caught the attention of the fans. This time, it was over the excessive flack that Matt Ryan received from Aikman. Those watching the broadcast even found it comical to see the analyst blast the 38-year-old quarterback at every throw of the ball. However, the fans did not remain silent on the matter and actually called out the analyst for his actions.

Aikman really surprised the fans by going after Ryan the way he did. However, some were even entertained.

The analyst’s hate for the QB somehow inspired this fan to hope for a love just as intense.

Even after throwing TDs, this fan believes there is nothing that Ryan could do to impress the analyst.

This fan even criticised Aikman for the unrelenting beat down of the player.

While Ryan did not have an impressive outing by any stretch of the imagination. The struggling offensive line did not help the 38-year-old at all. The Quarterback got sacked 3 times by the Steelers‘ pass rush.

However, Ryan was not without his faults as well. He threw for 199 yards and 1 touchdown on 34 pass attempts, out of which he completed a 64.71% of them. In addition to lackluster performance, he also threw one interception. While also fumbling the ball on Pittsburgh’s 1 yard line, which was recovered by the defence.

This was Jeff Saturday’s second straight loss as the head coach of the Colts. He began his tenure with a win against the Las Vegas Raiders. But now it seems the team is returning to its usual form.
