“Dallas Cowboys Have the Worst Defense in Football” – Analyst Takes Jibes at Mike McCarthy and Co.

As we approach the halfway stage of the 2020 NFL season, it is clear that ‘lady luck’ is not with Jerry Jones’ Dallas Cowboys outfit. The NFC East franchise is struggling under new head coach Mike McCarthy. The Cowboys have lost both their games after star quarterback Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending compound ankle fracture while playing against the New York Giants in Week Five.
The Texas-based organization is on a 2-5 record heading into Week Five. They will go up against NFC East rivals, Philadelphia Eagles. In addition to other issues, the Cowboys might be without backup quarterback Andy Dalton. He did not practice with the team on Friday. Rookie Ben DiNucci might get the first start of his NFL career this weekend.
The Eagles are on a 2-4-1 record and sit atop the NFC East Division table ahead of the Washington Football Team with Dallas Cowboys in the third spot. The odds are stacked against the Cowboys. But can quarterback Carson Wentz do enough to secure a win for the Eagles?

Here’s what Smith said in relation to Cowboys coach, Mike McCarthy.
“The Dallas Cowboys have the worst defense in football. The worst run defense in football, one of the top-five worst defenses in yards allowed, the very worst in points allowed, the very worst in rushing yards allowed… then we get to the offensive side of the ball. Dak Prescott is gone, Ezekiel Elliott clearly has nosedived primarily because you got an offensive line that’s completely obliterated injury-wise and as a result, you got some subs that just ain’t ready for the challenge.”

“With a new coach that the players ain’t feeling to begin with, with an owner/GM that’s cussing out radios hosts…let me get this straight, Mike McCarthy is the one under pressure?” Smith said at the beginning of the show.
Of course, McCarthy will be under pressure to grind out the desired results from his star-studded team. However, Carson Wentz might be playing with his job on the line.
