They know each and every inch of the game. Their decisions are always accurate. Some people may not agree with them, but the officials know what they are doing.

After an upset 23-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Prescott also bashed the referees and called out their decisions. Maybe it was in the heat of the moment, but the Cowboys’ QB seems to have come to his senses.

Dak Prescott blames the referees for the loss
After losing to the Cardinals in the wild-card round, things got a little out of control in the AT&T Stadium. The fans went berserk, and they threw garbage on the field. Some say they aimed it at the players, while others argued it was for the officials. During the post-match interview, Dak Prescott said that it was sad how the fans threw rubbish on the field. But he also claimed that it was for the officials. He said, “Credit to them”.
In the dying moments of the game, Dallas was on the attack. Dak Prescott was trying to make a play to tie the score. He was rushing with the ball. With around 7 seconds left on the clock, Prescott did not give the referee the ball. It did not stop the time, and the Cowboys lost the opportunity to make one last play.

It seems like the emotions got the best of Dak Prescott. He was sad after the loss. He could not think straight. Prescott claims that he was overcome with emotions, and his words did not make sense. The quarterback deeply regrets everything he said about the officials in the post-match press conference. Dak says that his words were uncalled for. “I deeply regret the comments I made regarding the officials after the game”. Prescott tweeted.

The 28-year-old also said that he respects the referees, and he realizes their job is not easy. “I hold the NFL Officials in the highest regard and have always respected their professionalism and the difficulty of their jobs”. Blaming the referees for the loss was unprofessional, but Dak Prescott realized his mistakes.
