The owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, has praised his No.1 wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, as he prepares for the upcoming season. Cee Dee Lamb became the first choice for the Cowboys after they traded Amari Cooper to the Browns. While Jerry Jones praised WR CeeDee, he also commented on the former WR Amari Cooper.

Jerry Jones told Star-Telegram that he does not think his team is in a difficult situation. The departure of Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson has not made the team weak. Instead, CeeDee Lamb is an upgrade to Cooper. Lamb has a better chance of improving the team’s offense while being the No. 1 receiver.

Jerry also commented on Amari Cooper and said that they traded him because his performance did not match his $20 million price tag. Amari Cooper was drafted by the Cowboys in the year 2018 with a $100 million deal over 5 years.

Along with Jerry Jones, Coach McCarthy also praises WR CeeDee Lamb

Recently, Cowboys coach McCarthy gave a remark on CeeDee Lamb and said“This is a great opportunity for him personally. I think just the way we’ve established the offense, particularly in the passing game, the ability for those guys to play different positions, to create matchups and make it harder on the defense to double you and those types of things — my point is, playing in the slot a lot last year and now playing the flanker position.”
