Jerry Jones is one of the most successful owners in the NFL. He has transformed America’s team into a global sports franchise. They are currently the most valuable sports franchise in the world. Jones is a billionaire, and many times people have thought, why does he not own any other sports franchise?

The Dallas Cowboys owner once gave a great answer to this question, which has bothered many people.

While talking about whether he would buy any other sports franchise, Jerry Jones said, “No, I haven’t, I love to play baseball, enjoy watching basketball, but it was always about football. I wouldn’t have gone into another sport.“

It’s clear that the Cowboys owner has a full focus on his football team. Despite being a very successful businessperson and owner, he wants to devote his life to the team that made him this famous.

Other teams in their division have gotten a lot better. On the other hand, the Cowboys haven’t made any significant additions to their squad. Due to that, the Philadelphia Eagles have a great chance of leapfrogging them and winning the NFC East.

If the Eagles win in the NFC East, the Cowboys will have a tough fight to secure the wildcard spot for the playoffs. The 49ers, Saints, and Cardinals also will compete for those three spots. As a result, the Jerry Jones-owned team needs to be at its utmost best throughout the season.
