The health of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been a matter of utmost importance to his franchise and fans. There have been moments in recent years where Prescott was the guiding light for America’s Team in challenging situations. But his injury in 2020 was an eye-opener for the franchise to gauge his value in Dallas.

But following an impressive 2021 season, Prescott seems to be feeling great after a long time. On Wednesday, during his recent press conference following a practice, Prescott shares his feelings with the gathering of reporters.

He states, “[This is the] healthiest I’ve been in a long, long time. So, I’m just blessed just to start there and to be able to come in healthy and just to work on myself and just overall my whole game and not just particularly getting one element of my body healthy.

The encouraging words from the franchise QB are bound to galvanize his teammates, the franchise, and their die-hard fans. Injuries have been a constant presence for the last 2 seasons particularly, but now the Cowboys QB appears to power through the new season. He shares how he is also evolving his footwork on the football field to enhance his mobility in games.

A healthy Dak Prescott will be a welcome boost for the Cowboys

While Prescott hasn’t yet played a whole NFL season without injuries since 2019, the optimism is going to be high in Dallas. The Cowboys remain one of the clear favorites to win the NFC East title again next season. He has a clear effect on how the Cowboys play and the numbers back those claims.

Without Prescott, the Cowboys went 5-7 in the past 2 NFL campaigns.

Last season while missing games, Prescott threw for career-high 37 TD passes and recorded his 2nd 4,000 passing yards season of his career.
