While appearing on the First Things First podcast, NFL analyst Nick Wright weighed the pros and cons for the Cowboys ahead of the start of the 2020 season.

“I have the Cowboys at 11-5, the number one seed is 12-4. So that means that it’s in play for them, it’s possible for them. But how do they get there? How do they get the one seed which is the only place that you can get a bye?
“Dak and the Cowboys’ offense as a whole, (are) gonna have to be a hell of a lot better against good teams. Dak, against the Giants and Washington (13-3), I mean that is, that’s damn near Patrick Mahomes level.
“Against the rest of the NFL (27-21), it’s good, I mean it’s not bad,” Wright said.
