Following a heart arrest in January during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals in January, Damar was in critical condition at the UC Medical Center. He was cleared to resume his NFL career after a month and left the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. However, he recently returned to Cincinnati once again.

The purpose of Damar’s visit to Cincinnati this time was to raise awareness and promote the importance of CPR and AED training through his Chasing M’s CPR Tour. He recently posted an Instagram story sharing an emotional message which said, “Damar was Here….Again.❤️ Damar indicated that it is possible to overcome even the most difficult challenges through this message. The successful comeback of Hamlin serves as a reminder of the value of prompt treatment for cardiac arrest.

Hamlin might not have survived if he hadn’t received CPR and a defibrillator right away. Because of this, he understands that it’s crucial to know CPR and have AEDs available in public areas. According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, he distributed complimentary boxed AEDs.

Hamlin believed it was only right to include Cincinnati as a third stop on his tour after having already been to Pittsburgh and Buffalo. It shows that he’ll be grateful for the rest of his life for what the UC medical team did for him.

How is Damar doing after overcoming a fatal experience?

Damar’s recovery is no less than a miracle. After his release from the hospital, Hamlin began his trip by returning to the Bills’ practice facility for the first time since collapsing and meeting with his coaches and teammates. He praised them for their unflinching assistance throughout the experience. Hamlin was recognized at the NFL Honors ceremony in February along with the emergency personnel and medical professionals that saved his life. The audience gave him a standing ovation after a moving speech on his recovery.

Later, he also attended the Super Bowl, where he enjoyed the game and had a great time with NFL stars. The Bills and Bengals players who saw Damar collapse made a tribute video for him. Hamlin’s participation in the Bills’ voluntary minicamp in the month of May marked his incredible comeback to football. He had to face many obstacles to return to the field, but he persisted, and today he serves as an inspiring example for many, capping off an almost remarkable turnaround.
