And just when the offseason drama was reaching a fever pitch, the 2023 Oscars rolled around. But it was Wilson’s wife, Ciara, who stole the show. The superstar singer made a lasting impression with her stunning dress at the afterparty, leaving everyone buzzing about her unforgettable look.

While this year’s Oscars saw several films and songs receiving recognition, Ciara herself was conspicuously absent from the ceremony. Instead, she made her way to Beverly Hills, California to attend Vanity Fair’s swanky Oscars 2023 afterparty. Accompanied by her husband Russell Wilson, Ciara strutted down the red carpet in an eye-catching see-through outfit that immediately turned heads and stole the spotlight.

Singer Ciara set a daring fashion statement by wearing a glittering Dundas halter dress and black thongs underneath it. She also had opera-length black velvet gloves with a ring, Christian Louboutin heels, and added earrings to complete her outfit. Husband Russell Wilson also wore the swagger game with a black velvet blazer that coordinated with the shoes.

The afterparty was a gathering of numerous celebrity guests including Idris Elba, Quinta Brunson, Halle Bailey, Tiffany Haddish, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chloe Bailey, Queen Latifah, and others, in addition to Ciara and Russell Wilson. It was an event truly befitting the term “star-studded.”

The couple’s afterparty visit comes after them making a generous donation towards cancer research. Wilson and Ciara also visited a high-security prison to visit the inmates for an initiative. Interestingly, the Wilsons were under intense scrutiny over their non-profit foundation. Some also involve DangeRuss’ former franchise, claiming he wanted two key members removed from the organization.

In addition to the allegations of fraud, ‘The Asterisk’ also highlighted claims that quickly gained widespread attention. According to reports by The Athletic, Wilson supposedly expressed a desire to see changes made to the Seattle Seahawks’ leadership, specifically regarding General Manager John Schneider and Head Coach Pete Carroll. Similar reports have arisen in the past, indicating ongoing conflicts between Wilson and the team. However, the former Seahawks quarterback disputed these accusations.
