The Washington Commanders are hunting their way back into the isle of Super Bowl relevancy. The franchise had inconsistency over their roster for a long time, especially in the QB1 sector. With Carson Wentz joining the band, the franchise is pulling up a revamp. However, tension still surrounds the Commanders after reporters suggest the inaccuracy bug around the new signal caller.

Following the start of the training phase, the Commanders trooped forward into FedEx Field to hone their skills through practice. After acquiring Carson Wentz, Washington’s path to recovery appeared great. However, that does not appear to be the situation. The franchise had a few inaccuracies that raised concerns about its uniformity.

The audience and insiders at FedEx Field saw Carson Wentz occasionally struggling while making the slings. He made deep tosses by making impressive throws but made some strange misses. The Athletic’s senior writer, Ben Standig, is particularly worried about it.

Standig mentions, “Quarterbacks throwing to receivers against air (with no defense) is the football equivalent of a layup line. Yet, Wentz routinely has bricked passes in various directions. Overthrowing or firing out too far out has been the common issue. Inaccuracy issues dodged Wentz during his final couple seasons with the Eagles and his lone season with the Colts. In 2021, Wentz had the league’s sixth worst completion rate over expected. His misfires were cringe worthy during the final month of the season, when Colts did everything.”

The inaccuracy concerns might trouble the fans. However, there is one person who is not upset about it.

Ron Rivera oozes positivity despite inaccuracy worries on Carson Wentz

Despite all the concerns surrounding the Washington skies, Ron Rivera is not upset or worried about it. During the Saturday Night media scrum, The Commanders head coach claims that his accuracy is much higher than everybody else acknowledges him because of how things work in practice. There are many nuances that the franchise notices and that we examine and review.

He further said there are some inaccuracies, but nothing that should cause any concern. Carson Wentz is still acclimating to a new team. Coach Rivera sees it and believes there is some room for improvement. His teammates are also happy with their new QB1. The franchise is off on a new trajectory with Carson as the lead commander and a defensive line that seeks to return to the upper echelons. Will they prevail? It is subject to witness.
