A feeling of uncertainty looms over Lambeau Field. The Green Bay Packers face the prospect of losing franchise QB Aaron Rodgers. An issue that could potentially affect the future of another star player in wide receiver Davante Adams.
The 2020 All-Pro has been vocal about his support to Aaron Rodgers. And he’s even said that how the situation plays out between Rodgers and the Packers front office could potentially affect his time at Lambeau Field as well.
This had Packers fans sweating. Losing two of their most important offensive weapons can prove to be a blow too big to recover from.

The uncertainty regarding Adams’ future has got some people in the NFL talking as well. With the wide receiver entering the last season of his current contract, Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr dropped hints about potentially chasing Adams in free agency.
Derek Carr could indeed play a big role if that indeed happens. After all, the two were teammates back at Fresno State. But what does Davante Adams have to say about Carr’s recent comments?
Davante Adams not ready to dabble with speculations
Speaking to The Mercury News, Adams was asked about the idea of reuniting with his college QB or even playing for a team that doesn’t wear Green and Yellow. The speedster though was quick to shoot down the talk stating that for now he’s focused on remaining a Packer.

“Well, I mean, I’m a Packer, so I can’t really get too far ahead on that,” Adams said. “When the season ends and if nothing’s figured out, then maybe we’ll have something to talk about. But those are cautious waters, so I can’t really dabble in that now.”
