Davante Adams put on a show last night in the Raiders’ 17-16 losing effort against the LA Rams. Adams and Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey had a duel for the ages. And it somehow ended with a miraculous Rams comeback win and the Raiders getting knocked out of playoff contention. However, the wide receiver’s on-field magic didn’t go unnoticed.

The former Green Bay WR caught a one-handed magical catch within two minutes after the game started. And former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee couldn’t hold his excitement when he saw the opening play in the game. Fans on Twitter agreed to the NFL expert and host of ‘The Pat McAfee Show’.

On 3rd and 6 in the 1st quarter, Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Carr threw a dime to the No 1 ranked wide receiver in the league right now. Jalen Ramsey seemed to be in position for the interception. However, Davante Adams showed why Aaron Rodgers misses him so much when he caught a one-handed wonder. Pat McAfee tweeted about the human highlight reel, “Davante Adams [3 laughing emojis]”.

Davante Adams was a second-round draft pick in 2014 for the Green Bay Packers. The wide receiver from Fresno State recorded three 1000+ yards seasons in his eight years at Wisconsin. He teamed up with Aaron Rodgers and formed one of the deadliest QB-WR duos in the league. However, Adams was unsure about A-Rod’s future at Green Bay and decided to join his friend and college QB Derek Carr at Las Vegas in the off-season. Fans know the potential in Davante and responded in an appropriate fashion.

The Raiders may be further out of the conference playoff contention. However, Davante Adams seems to be having one of the best seasons of his career this year. After Week 13, Adams leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns with 12 TDs and already has 1247 receiving yards this season. Moreover, fans want him back at Lambeau Field.

The Pro-Bowler Jalen Ramsey is on the league’s top cornerbacks list. However, Adams made it a nightmare for the Super Bowl-winning CB. Ramsey and Davante Adams’ almost even matchup turned some eyeballs. And NFL twitter roasted Ramsey although Adams only ran for 71 yards on 3 receptions against the Los Angeles Rams cornerback.
