A-Rod reunited with his former Green Bay Packers comrades, notably the electrifying Davante Adams. The gathering and a viral moment ensued when cameras caught Rodgers enjoying a fine cigar captivating the media.

Meanwhile, the reunion of QB Rodgers and OT Billy Turner in New York has brought about a sense of joy and contentment for Rodgers. Turner, having experienced their partnership in Green Bay, observes Rodgers seems genuinely happy in their renewed collaboration.

Rodgers impressed by Garrett Wilson’s similarities

During Aaron Rodgers‘ appearance on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’ this Tuesday, he drew comparisons between Garrett Wilson, his future teammate on the New York Jets, and his former favorite target in Green Bay, Davante Adams. Despite adjusting to his new team, Rodgers was struck by the similarities he noticed between Adams and Wilson when watching practice footage of himself with the young receiver.

Rodgers on the show said, “Obviously Garrett, he’s a talented guy. I threw him a pass today and just kind of turned and was like, ‘Wow.’… There’s another 17 I played with for a long time who does it better than anybody, but the 17 here is pretty similar.”

In just a month since Rodgers’ blockbuster trade to the New York Jets, Wilson’s impressive skills on the field have caught Rodgers’ eye, and he can’t help but be impressed by the young receiver’s potential.

Meanwhile, Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers were teammates from 2014 to 2021, with 624 connections, 7,649 yards, and 68 touchdowns—the most ever between a QB and receiver in Green Bay Packers history.

Rodgers enjoys a fine cigar at the Kentucky Derby

Aaron Rodgers joined a prominent group of ex-Packers players, including Davante Adams, at the Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala. The crew made appearances on red carpets before attending various sporting events, such as playoff games for the Rangers and Knicks, leading up to the 149th Kentucky Derby. Rodgers, dressed in a navy blue outfit, was captured in Instagram posts alongside Davante Adams, who donned a white outfit, both sporting cheerful smiles at the Derby. Accompanying Rodgers were other NFL players, including David Bakhtiari, Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, AJ Hawk, Matt Flynn, and Jimmy Graham.

ProFootballTalk took to Twitter to share a stylish moment from the Kentucky Derby, “Aaron Rodgers reunites with current and former Packers teammates at the Kentucky Derby. During the proceedings, he enjoyed a fine cigar. Which I can respect.” Rodgers was seen indulging in a fine cigar.

In the meantime, reports suggest Rodgers is beaming with happiness. According to Turner on Mad Dog Sports Radio, Rodgers’ positive demeanor has been evident to everyone during the Jets’ offseason workouts. Turner also noted that Rodgers’ contentment with the Jets stems from his previous frustrations with the Packers.
