The Chiefs‘ stars can’t seem to stay away from baseball. It has only been a month since Travis Kelce’s horrible throw that made Shane Bieber and the team mascot run for cover. Kelce’s spiked pitch was ridiculed all over the internet. Being a pro footballer definitely has some side effects. Now we see the star QB of the team, Patrick Mahomes, in yet another baseball game. But this time, the whole arena cheered for Mahomes while he was joined by Hollywood A-listers.

Mahomes has grown up playing baseball and also was a possible draft pick in 2014 for MLB. The 2 times MVP competed in the celebrity softball game at the Kauffman Stadium on Friday. The fans were flabbergasted by Mahomes’ performance and the competitive spectacle that the celebrities put on.

The home of the Kansas City Royals saw an enormous crowd last Friday with big-time Hollywood stars like Ted Lasso himself, Jason Sudeikis, and even the Ant-man, Paul Rudd, attending the event. A total of 6 comedians were hosting the show with 40-plus guests that included SNL comedians and other remarkable talents from all over the industry. It was certainly a fun night for the audience and the fans. Although the actors played really well, Mahomes dominated the entire event. The Royals posted multiple pictures and videos of the event on their Instagram page.

Sudeikis was the main attraction at the event as he scored the first run for his team. It must have been very peach for him to attend such an event days after his famous show most likely aired its final episode. Rudd also got on base with an infield hit and even scored in the later game. But as expected, Mahomes came out as the star player of the show. He made a no-look catch, got comedian-host Eric Stonestreet out, and also caught Rob Riggle’s pop fly ball. And he even scored a Home Run.
