Son Shedeur Sanders and CU athletic director Rick George were in attendance. Shedeur, being a proud son, shared a touching message for his coach, Prime Deion Sanders, via Instagram a couple of hours ago.

Shedeur posted an interesting picture with a caption that garnered almost 100k likes and numerous responses. The initial injury that caused blood clots in Sanders’ legs was a dislocated toe, which had gone untreated for approximately 20 years. In less than a month, Primetime had to undergo two surgeries, with the last one taking place this Thursday.

Colorado QB Shedeur’s message for Dad

Coach Deion Sanders is on the road to recovery after a second surgery to clear blood clots in his right leg. He’s in good spirits at UC Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz, where he got a visit from his son Shedeur Sanders and CU athletic director Rick George.

This was the second time in less than a month that Deion had to go under the knife for the same issue. He had his first operation on June 23, just after he took over as CU’s football team coach.

Shedeur Sanders, who is not only Deion’s son but also his biggest fan, posted a sweet message for his dad on social media. He wrote, “We straight ❤️”, showing his love and support for his father during this tough time.

In a relationship with Coach Prime, Tracey Edmonds expressed her gratitude to all the staff at the hospital in a post on Facebook, recently. She thanked the Lord for the success of another surgery and asked for strength for Coach Prime to face his challenges.
