Deion Sanders’ latest appointment as head coach meant this for one of the top incoming recruits for college football. California-based Carson Mott lost his offer as Sanders took over in Colorado. Mott played as an edge for Simi Valley High School in California.
Time for Carson Mott to bounce back
The three-star recruit was highly recruited by the previous Buffaloes coach, Karl Dorrell. He committed to the Colorado team earlier this year in June. However, his college plans were cut short by the NFL hall of Famer, Sanders. No reason is available to the public for this quick change of plans. Unfortunately for Mott, his recruitment process will reopen. Time will tell if Sanders’ decision worked out for he better or worse for him. As for Mott, wherever he will end up, he will want to prove to Sanders that he made the wrong decision.
