The Miami Dolphins have made substantial splashes in last year’s offseason. This year too, they are not backing out. Since the free agency, the organization has eyed several athletes they can bring in. The Dolphins have already brought in a Super-Bowl worthy receiver and are ramping up for the upcoming season. Their latest acquisition is already making waves, and franchise star Tyreek Hill is ecstatic.

This year’s offseason movements started well for the Dolphins. The franchise picked up Jalen Ramsey in a trade, and things have paced up ever since. The Fins also brought in QB Mike White to back up Tua Tagovailoa. Their latest acquisition would immensely help up the offensive end.

As per Miami Herald, the Dolphins added former New York Jets receiver/kicker Braxton Berrios. The former University of Miami athlete signed a one-year deal with the franchise and is now representing his old stomping grounds. The development made star WR Tyreek Hill ecstatic. The athlete took to Twitter to applaud and welcome WR/Kicker Berrios. He mentioned, “let’s goooo wes welker 2.0.”

The comments by Tyreek Hill are coming days after reports said Tom Brady could come off retirement to join the franchise. Since those talks seem like a bust, QB1 Tua could take some advantage of Braxton Berrios. His adaptability and persistence paid well for New York, and Miami seems in safe hands.

Braxton Berrios’ career beginnings had some obstacles. The New England Patriots selected him as a sixth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. However, he spent the entirety of it on IR. The Jets claimed him from the waivers in 2019, and he showed up as a true star.

The WR/Kicker is off to a new location, but he acknowledged his former team and kept a thoughtful message for them on social media.
