DeAndre Hopkins’ new home stadium has a $2.1 billion price tag
The Copperheads just made a big announcement about their new stadium, and it’s a jaw-dropper. With a huge price tag of $2.1 billion, they gave us a sneak peek at what the new home will look like, and it’s a work of art both inside and out. The modern dome-style structure features massive displays all around, and it’s not just for football, as there will be all sorts of cool things to do. They shared a 3D-rendered video that gave us a glimpse into the future.

The preview showed lots of areas where visitors can hang out and do different things, from eating to enjoying music performances. The football field itself looks stunning, with an amazing roof and modern lights. The seating area is massive, and there are big displays at the top for announcements. The clip even showed music festivals being held there, so it’s clear the stadium will have many uses. It’s set to open in 2027, and fans are already buzzing with excitement.

Once the clip hit the internet, fans were quick to show how eager they were for the dome. But most of the comments also had opinions about the design, and people had a lot to say.

Did the stadium look like a console?
With the stadium’s rectangular shape and a dome-like structure on top, fans quickly noticed that the building might have taken inspiration from the latest gaming consoles, Sony’s PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox. They even playfully compared the preview to pictures of the consoles in the comments. One fan shared images of an Xbox Series S and PS5, saying, ‘They really used this as an inspiration.‘
Yet another fan posted a picture of a PS5 console, while adding a caption that read, “Welcome to Titans Stadium!”

A fan clearly wasn’t impressed with the design, and wrote, “Looks like an LA mall”
Some of the comments were fairly in favor of the team, with one of them writing, “Looks like the Super Bowl is coming to Nashville”
Lastly, a fan wrote, “The architecture firm straight up hired the Avatar VFX guys for this,” praising the animator team.

While Hopkins’ new home didn’t get a warm reception from fans, the team is stronger than ever. With a tight-knit team this season, they’re set to dominate the league and hopefully achieve their long-awaited goal of winning the Super Bowl.
