Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes is arguably one of the best QB in the league at the moment. Coming from a 2017 Draft class that was lacking a strong selection at the QB position, little did people know that it will produce a QB who is now on track to be the successor of NFL GOAT Tom Brady’s throne. At the age of 27, Mahomes has already won three AFC championships and two Super Bowls in the first six seasons of his career, solidifying himself as one of the Kansas City greats.

But the road to fame and success was not an easy one for the 2x Super Bowl Champion to tread on. It was filled with turmoil and hardships. And now, $40 million worth Patrick Mahomes will feature in a documentary that talks about the difficult path of being where he is currently in the NFL.

While coming out of high school, Mahomes was ranked 50th in the state of Texas. While possessing the athletic size and arm strength, the inability to suffice within the pocket led to him not being seen as a top QB prospect. In the 2017 draft, even Mitchell Trubisky was drafted ahead of Mahomes, despite him being graded as a third-round pick. But fortunes favored the Kansas City Chiefs as Mahomes would come in as the successor of Alex Smith and lead them to glory. And he talks about it all in the latest documentary by Netflix.
