The former second overall pick calls him a “wide back” because of his multiple responsibilities in Kyle Shanahan’s scheme, including slot and dash. With 1,405 yards, six touchdown receptions, and eight running title touchdowns, he set a new NFL single-season record for yards receiving by a WR.

The signing of Samuel, however, could provide the Cowboys with a true WR1 for Dak Prescott while they aim to go for the Super Bowl.
