The Miami Dolphins are currently going toe to toe with the Bills. While the Bisons were favorites to make it out of the AFC. It now seems that they might not even finish at the top of the division. The Dolphins had a winning season for two consecutive seasons, however, they never looked dangerous. While the team added the likes of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle to the offense, there have also been coaching changes. And QB, Tua Tagovailoa, who is in the running for the MVP award, believes that made all the difference in the world.

Tagovailoa has turned his fortunes around this season. With an 8-3 record, the Dolphins seem to have a good chance of making it to the SB. And while the fans must be happy, the 24-year-old caught the attention of the NFL with his sneaky diss aimed at former HC Brian Flores. When NFL reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala asked the QB, what was the difference this season? He replied, “Well, having someone that believes in you makes all the difference.” Although that is innocent by itself, he continued by saying, “I’ve never experienced that. This is my first time having that kind of relationship with someone with that type of authority, being the head coach of an organization.” It certainly seems like a dig at Flores.
Fans believe Tua Tagovailoa just grilled his former HC
Tua did not need to mention the name of Flores. The fans understood his message with utmost clarity.
That was definitely a jab at Flores 😹
And fans are in complete support of the star. They believe that he has earned the right to throw some shade.
Throw that shade Tua, you earned it.
After catching flame from the QB, this fan laid it out really simply for Brian Flores.
Brian Flores looks worse & worse each week.
Beyond a good offensive line and weaponry at the receiving positions, this fan thinks that this is all that QB needed.
All he needed was the people around him to believe in him
This person even has an explanation for why Flores could not work with the throwing talent of Tua.
The 24-year-old is only 89 yards behind his career-best in passing yards. While his last best was 2653 yards in 2021. He has achieved 2564 yards in only 9 games this season. He had already surpassed his career high in passing completion (69.7%) and TDs (19).
The Brian Flores saga
Owner of the Miami Dolphins Stephen Ross caught the Fins by surprise after he fired HC Brian Flores before the season began. Flores led the team to two consecutive winning seasons. However, he was replaced by Mike McDaniel earlier this season.
The former HC has filed a lawsuit against the Dolphins. He accused them of racial discrimination as the grounds for his firing. The reports establish that there was friction between GM Chris Grier and Flores. However, what seemed like a disastrous PR for the Dolphins has somehow worked for the organization.
