Deion Sanders Does What JSU Fans Expected of Him, Days After Moving to Colorado

Deion Sanders has been in the spotlight for the last few days. The NFL legend did not get a warm response from the football world regarding his decision to cut ties with Jackson State. After coaching at JSU, Sanders is headed out to take over as head coach for the University of Colorado. But the announcement that came after this had fans trying hard to not scream, ‘We told you so!’
Jackson State cornerback Travis Hunter announced that he will be joining Deion Sanders in Colorado. After stating that he would enter the transfer portal, Hunter was quick to announce his destination. The cornerback posted a YouTube video that revealed where he was headed. Football fans did not have to watch the video to know what Hunter was about to say.

Fans who predicted this move smugly stated that they saw Hunter’s decision coming way before time. Jackson State fans did not bother to hide their annoyance with regard to Sanders, in a way, poaching one of their brightest stars. While the claim of knowing that something was going to happen in advance is usually a bluff, in this case, the timing of Sanders’ move and Hunter’s availability for a transfer does not seem like a coincidence.

Sanders has his work cut out at Colorado
Deion Sanders’ acquisition of Travis Hunter is one of the many tricks up his sleeve. The former Super Bowl champion has only good things to say about Hunter. While speaking to Shannon Sharpe on ‘Club Shay Shay’, the NFL icon commented on the cornerback’s instability. He also appreciated the young star’s work ethic and fearlessness.
Looking to replicate the success seen at Jackson State during his time there, the Hall of Famer is out and about. Despite the lukewarm reaction to Sanders’ move to Colorado, there’s no doubt that they will anticipate the Buffs’ performance under their new head coach.
