Deion Sanders Draws Comparisons Between His Retirement and Tom Brady Retirement From The NFL

NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has played football at the highest level, to say the least. He is quite possibly the best to describe former QB Tom Brady’s mindset after his decision to retire. Sanders presented the similarities while drawing comparisons between the circumstances under which both players retired. NFL fans through Sanders get a glimpse into the thinking that goes behind the scenes in making important decisions.
While talking about Brady’s retirement on The Doug Goutlieb Show, Sanders said, “So I walked away because…I really didn’t want to, I just didn’t want to play because I knew it wasn’t gonna be a productive situation… So I wasn’t really done mentally. Tom, I feel mentally and emotionally, he’s done.”

Sanders believes both his and Tom’s retirement decisions took place under different circumstances and on totally different terms.

Sanders admits, though, Brady still has abilities to continue performing at the top of his game. He believes that Brady is only teasing but won’t be coming back because he made the choice of walking away. He admires Brady for retiring from the league on his terms while maintaining his love for the game.

Sanders compares their situations while stating that he believed that staying on in Washington wouldn’t have been productive. He admits having concerns over the team and their direction as one of the reasons for deciding to retire.
