Deshaun Watson’s trade situation

Deshaun Watson is all set to enter the trade market, and some sources claim that he can bring the market into chaos. A few teams are desperately on the hunt for a new or veteran play-caller; Watson happens to be the hottest trade prospect available as a quarterback.

Watson is an exceptional talent, pioneering the NFL in throwing yards (4823) and touchdowns (33) in 2020. He has played four seasons in the NFL, making the pro-bowl in three of them. Watson is also a dynamic quarterback who can dash through defenses.

Franchises such as Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Indianapolis Colts, and Pittsburgh Steelers can be available on the trade market for the availability of a play-caller via trade. The Colts traded Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders, and Seahawks traded Russell Wilson to the Broncos. Moreover, both teams may go for a QB update.

Even the San Francisco 49ers can enter the fray for a QB hunt. However, Jimmy Garoppolo, the 49ers’ star QB, underwent surgery and is on the mend, and the franchise may likely keep his services.

As of now, Deshaun Watson’s trade is a large unknown, and big teams can snag the athlete’s services. Long-term contracts for the athlete are in doubt due to the recent legal dispute, but a comeback in 2022 might be incredibly helpful to his career.
