Patrick Mahomes preparing for Super Bowl champions
The Chiefs came from behind to snatch a win from the Chargers in a week 11 game. And Patrick Mahomes was at the heart of the comeback, again. And he is proud of his team for mounting a comeback.“I am proud of the guys, man. We have played a lot of tough games against a lot of great teams. And we have stepped up and won,” Mahomes said in the post-game press conference.
But he already has an eye on the next game. The next hurdle for the Chiefs is the reigning Super Bowl champions the Los Angeles Rams. And Mahomes is already preparing for that game as he has another eye on winning the Vince Lombardi with the Chiefs this season.“Obviously, it feels good now. It will be a nice plane ride home, but we got another Super Bowl champs coming to town, so we have to kind of to prepare ourselves again,” Mahomes added.
The Chiefs come back again
The Chiefs have won a considerable number of games coming from a losing position. They have won games comfortably, but they do find themselves behind quite often. But they have a weapon that trumps everyone, Patrick Mahomes. Whether it may be a pass play to find Kelce against the Chargers or a successful two-point conversion to bring things on level against the Tennessee Titans, he always has a way out.

Mahomes threw a total of 20 completions for 329 yards against the Chargers. He threw three touchdown passes. The Chargers’ defense couldn’t intercept any of his passes. Kansas sits comfortably at the top of the AFC West division table with an 8-2 record. Another Super Bowl appearance seems evident on the cards this season. Will they put on a show against the Rams? Or will it be another close call?
