Aaron Rodgers is now the New York Jets’ hope for a Super Bowl. With him gearing up to take center stage as their QB1, NFL fans will have high expectations in his Big Apple debut. But while the new season of the league is still days away, Aaron Rodgers is engaging in other activities, just like his other NFL acquaintances.

And one of his recent off-season involvement was at the Super Bowl of celebrity golf. Despite the competitiveness of the American Century Championship, A-Rod took to social media to share his happiness on the same, as the ACC championships came to an end.

It may be July, but Aaron Rodgers already had his first taste of title contention. After two rounds in the three-day golf championship in Lake Tahoe, Rodgers finished in 12th place, proceeding further for a shot to be crowned the champion at the event. And he recently took to social media to show his appreciation for being able to participate in the star-studded championship.

NBA star Stephen Curry emerged victorious at the ACC championship after dazzling fans with his incredible hole-in-one shot. But Aaron Rodgers shared a post on Instagram as well, which shows that he also enjoyed participating in the event. The post was an appreciation to everyone who was a part of the event. The post had a series of photos with Pat McAfee, AJ Hawk, musician Jake Owen, Panthers WR Adam Thielen, and former NFL QB Alex Smith, amongst others. They were all a part of the star-studded line-up of more than 80 celebrities who were a part of the championship, boasting a combined net worth of around 392 million. Rodgers thanked the event sponsors on the post who made the event a grand success. He also talked about how he had his “best finish in 19 years,” being placed 5th overall in the 34th edition of the championship.

Rodgers is not a fan of Hard Knocks selecting the Jets

Recently, it was confirmed that the Jets will be the face of this year’s Hard Knocks series on HBO. But the 39-year-old was not welcoming of the news of cameras following him around in his debut season at the Big Apple. During a recent interview with KPIX, Aaron Rodgers stated that while he understands the appeal of why the Jets are going to be on Hard Knocks, the decision was “forced down their throats”, and now, “they have to deal with it.” This comment also led to Jets’ 54-year-old cheerleader Rich Eisen speaking up on it, stating that if Zach Wilson would have been the starting QB for the Jets, then some other team would have been more viable for the HBO series.
