Tom Brady‘s former team Tampa Bay Buccaneers is getting a makeover for the upcoming season and it is well-needed after the last season’s performance. After Brady’s retirement, the Buccaneers made enormous changes to the team’s roster and the coaching staff, filling it with unfamiliar faces and a wide variety of experiences for the team. Brady shows no intention of investing his time in his former teams as yet. While The Bucs are on the verge of restructuring, Brady is busy with the Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA team.

The Buccaneers under Brady’s leadership were a force to be reckoned with, but now that he’s gone, the team’s future is in a bind. The Bucs still have three experienced receivers on their roster, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Russell Gage. And now, David Moore joins the roster as a WR for the Bucs.

The new Buc in town

The former Seattle Seahawks player has played a total of 50 games in his NFL career and scored 13 touchdowns. He was signed to the team after a veteran tryout during a minicamp. Moore, with his Avenger-level talent, has had a very successful career during his time in the NFL. He was the seventh-round pick for the Seattle Seahawks in 2017, where he had the best 4 seasons of his career from 2017 to 2020. The 28-year-old Wide Receiver scored a total of 13 touchdowns with 1163 receiving yards. Moore served as the third receiver of the Seahawks, playing behind DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

He has been a part of the Broncos and the Packers in 2021 but seemed to struggle after leaving the Seahawks. Moore had signed a two-year contract worth $4.75 million with the Carolina Panthers but was later dropped from the team before the season started. Then he spent a while on the Las Vegas Raider’s practice squad. He finally catches a break after being signed for the Bucs.

Future of the Buccaneers without Tom Brady

Despite any attempt to invest any amount of time in Brady’s former team, the new line-up looks rather promising. The Bucs has made newer recruits to enhance their depth. Moore also looks very promising on the roster for the upcoming season. He will compete for a backup receiver in the team.

The 6 feet 219-pound receiver is well known for his speed and agility and he had proven his ability in the field on numerous occasions. The Bucs also added OLB Markees Watts, DT C. J. Brewer, and S Kendrick Whitehead to the team. In conclusion, The Buccaneers is not waiting around for Brady, they are moving players around and looking for newer opportunities for this season.
