NFL franchise Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams looks to be really up for the challenges that lie ahead of his rookie campaign. The franchise and the player seem to share the same amount of belief in each other as they traded from 32nd to the 12th overall pick in the NFL Draft. Amid reports of Williams being unhappy about his new team, the rookie swiftly handled the situation.
While talking about the Lions, Williams states, “I’m looking forward to it, for real. Football, it’s what I do. They traded up for a reason, trusted me and my playmaking ability. We gonna put everything together after my rehab, and we’re gonna show the world.” He adds that it was just his tiredness that led to his subdued reaction to his new team.

Did the Detroit Lions make the right choice by going for Williams?
The former Alabama Crimson Tide WR was productive in his only season while recording 79 receptions for 1,572 receiving yards resulting in 15 TDs. But it will be his injuries that might concern the Lions fans as he missed the National Championship Game with a torn ACL. It will be a race against time for the rookie as he hopes to hit the ground running from the start.
